Falling asleep

Ben was falling asleep in his highchair tonight. I knew he was tired but not enough to fall asleep while still eating. Had to get a video of him of course. Here it is:

First Haircut!!

Ben got his first haircut after his birthday cake. It was a bittersweet moment. He didn't cry which I though he would because he is not a fan of the vacuum or the hair blow dryer. He just crawls away as fast as he can. He did good. He sat between Bryce's legs as I did it. Here are before and after pictures. His hair does not stick out. I just did it like this so you can see how long his hair is.

Birthdays!!!

It has been a birthday week (or more), Zoey turned 4 on May 25th and Ben just turned 1 on June 6th. Crazy!! Here are pictures of the celebrations-mainly the cakes!!!

Zoey wanted a Princess Tiana cake with the barbie doll in it but when I tried making it, it broke 3 hours before we were to have it, so I did not have time to make it again. I felt bad, but Zoey was very good about not having that cake so she picked out this very chocolaty cake at the store. She still got to help decorate it and put tons of pink M&Ms on the bottom all around.

Before it was destroyed

After he had his fun with it. He started to swing his hands back and forth sending cake everywhere.

These are blurry because he would not sit still and my camera is to sensitive, but he was very messy.

And here you can see how messy he got. He thought it was fun to lay in the tub naked with no water. I had to get pictures in before cleaning him off.

JCPenny Pictures

Here are the pictures we took of the kids at JCPennys. They turned out really cute. Ben was EVERYWHERE and would not sit still for very long but we got some good ones of him. Zoey did WONDERFUL. She is getting so big!!

Little update and some videos

Also, I have many videos of Ben crawling. Yes he finally is but is everywhere now! AAAHHHH. Lately he LOVES going into Zoey's room which she doesn't mind sometimes. It was funny to watch him figure it out of course.

Ben does the splits. Actually he does them all the time. He has to do them to sit up. If you can picture this, from his belly he puts his legs to the side then pushes himself up to a sitting position, still with legs to the side in a complete split. OUCH! He is a VERY FLEXIBLE boy. Amazing. His doctor even said she has never seen a baby that flexible.

Here is a few of Ben crawling. He was uncoordinated at first, trying to get it all working together but now he "sprint crawls" as Bryce would say. And he LOVES cords, strings, necklaces or anything like those. Now Ben is a master at crawling and pulling himself up and standing.

Visit to Idaho

I got to visit my parents for 1 week in Feburary. It was lots of fun. Ben figured out how to sit up by himself and Zoey got to play in the snow a ton. We also got to visit Starla at her new house and meet Brinley as well as Starla got to meet Ben. Here are some pictures of the visit.

Here is Starla's girl Sofie. She is 10 months older than Ben. He is the same size as her. Ben is huge.

Zoey had a ton of fun playing with Emma. They were being so goofy.

They took turns playing dead and doctor. Zoey started it first by playing dead after going down the slide and then Emma copied.
