Graduation!!

I have graduated from dental assistant school. YEAH!!! Graduation was at 2:00 on saturday. All I have to do now is 52 hours of externship at a dentist's office. I have did 8 hours done at the dentist office the school is ran out of and it was fun. I didn't do anything except clean a room but I was at least able to see the basic how to's in a dentist office. Just watching everything was a learning experience. I went out today to see if I could get my externship going and already have a possibility of starting. The place is called Dental Designs with Dr. Heppler. I have heard from someone in my ward that the Dr. is in our ward. I thought the name sounded familiar. I didn't met him yet so I am not sure who he is. But hopefully I can start this week or next. I am excited. I am almost done!!! I have pictures of graduation being sent to me through email so when I get them I will post them for you all to see. We are suppose to have it outside but it was like 100 degrees outside that day. I could not cool off at all. It's 10 times worse with the humidity. Not fun. 80 degrees here is like 100 degrees in Idaho.

Zoey Pics

Here are some pictures of Zoey being Zoey
Zoey's got this rocking horse from Grandma Harmon. It took a while to come but she was so excited to play with it when we finally put t together.
Zoey loves to walk around in my shoes and thought it would be fun to try on my boots. I zipped them up to see what she would do.

Boots some more!!

Bryce's Birthday

Bryce is not much of a celebrator even on his own birthday. I tried to do special things but he really didn't care. He got a new pair of headphones for his computer, which actually broke when he tried to adjust them. I think they were to small. I also got him a 4lb. of licorice, his favorite, his mom got him season 1 and 2 of The Office. So, I tried to make it fun, and I hope he had fun. Happy Birthday Honey!!!!!!

Falling off

First time: I decided that Zoey and I were going to fall asleep to a movie sunday night in mom's bed. She took longer than I thought to fall asleep considering that she had no nap for that day because of church. So when she finally did, I had made sure that she was by the wall and not the egde becasue I didn't want her to fall off the bed. I woke up one time becasue I felt her head down by my feet. Carefully I moved her back up and then fell back asleep. Next thing I know, I hear a thud and crying. She somehow moved her way over me and fell off the bed. I didn't know what had happened for a split second because I was woken up by the thud.
Second Time: It happened at 2:00 am when I heard Zoey crying. I waited for while to see if she would fall asleep, not thinking she was off her bed. Then I got the point that I knew she wasn't going to fall back asleep and I needed to go in there. As I walked in she was half off her bed, hands on the floor to support herself with butt up in the air and feet on her bed. As soon as she knew I was in there she started to say "Help, Help". I couldn't help but laugh and wonder how she could have fallen out unless she fell asleep the opposite side of the railings in her toddler bed. She is crazy sleeper.

Zoey went potty!!!!!!!!!

Yes she did!!!! I am very proud of her today. We took a bath and usually after baths she runs around naked for a little bit. She peed on the floor a little bit, came and told me so we went to the potty to she if she would go and SHE DID. I was shouting and so excited when I started to hear it. I gave her 2 M & M's (she gets one every time she sits on the potty). I was so excited for her, and she was too. We came running out to tell Grandma Harmon who was talking to Aunt Danette on the phone and then we called Grandma Skene and she was excited for her. Zoey didn't want to talk on the phone because she was busy playing with blocks. I am a very proud mother today. Way to go ZOEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zoey's ABC's

Zoey likes to sing her ABC's but she misses quite a few things toward the end. It's really cute.

Possible job already!!!!!!!!!!

So I am almost done with school. I can't believe that it has gone as fast as it did. I am really excited to have my saturdays back. Last saturday, not yesterday, the director of the school offered me an interview for the dental hygenist assistant postion at the dental office where the school is at. His son owns and runs the dental office as well as the school with the help of his dad. I was not expecting that at all and very happy that they are impressed with me enough to come to me. I have an interview set up this coming thursday so I will let you know how it goes. I still need to get my externship going which is 60 hours and needs to be completed before I can take the certification test and start working. I plan on finding one this week and hopefully start ASAP. I don't know how I am going to manage it while working part time and have the dog and Zoey and Bryce to look after and cook dinner for, but I know it will work out somehow. It will be tough but I'll get use to it. Wish me luck!!

Gunner

Here is our new little puppy Gunner. He is a pure bred Boston Terrier. He will be 10 weeks old on the 7th. He is a real sweetheart. He is doing pretty good about being crate trained as well as going potty outside. He has his good days and bad days. Here are some pictures.

Asleep on our friend Bryce's lapZoey holding Gunner

Playing with his jacket. We bought him some sweaters because he gets cold really fast and also hates the rain so this helps when getting him to go potty outside.

Zoey's Birthday

Well, Zoey turned 2 on May 25th. I can't believe that she is 2. It's been hard for me to think that she is 2 now. She is growing up way to fast. I was ok and excited for her to turn 1 but turning 2 has been harder to believe. We had a little get together at our house with friends and family for her birthday. Bryce and Courtney came up from Albany OR and brought thier 2 pugs, Bandit and Banjo. Zoey had fun playing with them as well as them playing with her. Banjo followed her around all the time. Marshawn and Morigean came over and brought thier dog Roxy, and then Carolyn came back the night before the party and brought our new little puppy Gunner, who is absolutly adorable. So we had 4 dogs the night. Bryce and Courtney were so nice and were willing to put thier dogs in thier crate for the night so it wasn't crazy. Thank you guys!! Anyway, Zoey had so much fun playing with all the dogs and then opening up all her presents. Here are the pictures we took of the party.
